Wedding Season: What Does It Mean?

“Wedding season” is upon us! This means couples worldwide will spend thousands of dollars on flowers, dresses, tuxes, cakes and rings as well as hundreds of hours insuring their ceremony extravaganza is absolutely perfect!

What does it take to have a great wedding? The average wedding according to recent research in the United States costs on average $27,000, which includes a wedding ceremony and reception site, wedding planner, band or D.J., photographer, videographer, cake, dress, favors and of course engagement rings just to name a few of the details.

This momentous occasion requires time, planning, and careful consideration to details.
But what does it take to have a great marriage?

Marriage Enchantment – defined as “United Blessedness” is your gateway to providing wonderful Truths and Purpose to empower a solid relationship for nearly weds, newlyweds or a fresh start for couples who are already married.

Strong marriages don’t just happen. They are established in Truth and built with Purpose! Many couples start a life together enjoying elaborate engagement parties... bridal showers are meticulously planned... And a multitude of choices are made which result in a painstaking beautiful grand finale – The Wedding!

And while utmost attention is given to each detail of this event, what happens after the “I do’s” often may be likened to the bouquet thrown by the bride – up in the air and apt to land anywhere!

By establishing a foundation in God’s Purpose and understanding His plan and purpose for their lives can a couple build a lifetime of happiness and joy.

Embrace the opportunity of the “new” in your relationship and enter into the “United Blessedness” of your marriage!

As a Wedding Minister, non-denominational chaplain, having officiated more than 4,600 weddings in the span of nearly 25 years in ministry and a certified Prepare ~ Enrich couples coach, it has been my personal experience to share with many couples the joy of achieving their hearts desire as a married couple and family.

This new blog which I have been blessed with achieving with the professional tutelage of Tracy Petrucci, will serve as a vehicle which many have requested, to on a monthly series, post truths empowering couples to help identify and build on their couples strengths.

Thank you to the many couples who have encouraged me in this endeavor. I look forward to our continuing efforts with United Blessedness!

Respectfully,

Rev Powers, Ph.D.
